Curriculum Workshops for Parents
Would you like to find out how your child learns at Shapla? Would you like more information about ways that you can help your child to learn at home?
Shopna, our Parent Support Partner, runs curriculum workshops for different year groups every half term. These usually link to reading, phonics, maths or the IPC (International Primary Curriculum).
Parents gain an understanding of :
- the educational aims and values of learning
- what and how children are learning in class
- how they can support their child's learning at home
Workshops always include lots of helpful, practical ideas and activities that you can do with your child to help them learn at home. They sometimes include a free trip or visit to a museum or gallery.
We welcome all parents to join us. Please check the parents’ notice board, or speak to Shopna for more information.
